Opened in fall 2005, UC Merced is the first major research university built in the 21st century. The Students First Center (SFC) assists the UC Merced, in maintaining excellence in education, research and public service by assisting students, parents and visitors in a central location with information about a variety of campus services. The SFC is a student's first stop for questions about admissions, financial aid, scholarships, student records, and registration.
